Open Scholarship

My project is to collect and curate online the honors theses of Muhlenberg students for open access. Right now, the permission to proceed rests with the library director and the library committee, who in turn are going to consult with department heads. Once I receive the go ahead, I will develop a system of collection, most likely working with department heads or administrative assistants. I will then develop metadata for each honors thesis and then post to the institution’s digital repository on the DSpace platform.
